Training is more than just counting reps and recommending the best protein supplement. In my own experiences, training has been my outlet, my meditation, my purpose and my mission. It started in high school football when I wanted to be the strongest player on the team. It continued when I was in the military when I wanted to be physically fit for duty and when I was deployed I found myself spending late nights in the gym in order to cope with all my worries; It was my therapy. My goal has always been to not only help people improve their health and performance but to expose them to lessons that training naturally imposes. Staying consistent, setting goals, pushing limits and being uncomfortable are all required to succeed in the gym. However, these are also intangible qualities necessary to building the life you want.
For the last 8 years I have been fully immersed in becoming the best coach that I could be. I consider myself a perpetual student and all the knowledge and experience in the world, I know I can always improve. I received my Bachelors in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and my Masters in Exercise Science from Cal Baptist University. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the NSCA.
